I had the pleasure of working on the artwork for multiple releases by Toronto based artist Villa. Villa has been featured on BBC radio as well as in Rolling Stones magazine. I conceptualized art work using both sonics and lyrics as a starting point. The art work was then animated to provide for marketing material and as a background on Spotify.

this concept is a play on Chanel designer Karl Lagerfiled’s orginal sketch for the Chanel jacket. it replaces the ladies head with a skull and Karls signature for villa. Watercolour paper was added to give it more texture.
